Valentine's Day!

Okay, so I am catching up just a little.  As you all know I am expecting a little boy in July so I haven't been the best at blogging lately.  Secondly.... something is way wrong with my blogger editor.  I can't see any editing tools so that is a little frustrating and a little challenging to post.  If anyone has ever experienced this before and knows how to fix it let me know!!!...  please :)

As for Valentine's Day I called a friend of mine who happens to be the wife of Adam's co-worker.... Tera and Jason Thompson.  So we planned this amazing race, although it wasn't really like that.  First we dropped off shirts and a fanny pack at their desks at work with message to go to a salon.  not only that.. in the fanny pack there was $2.00 and sometime during their race they were supposed to buy us a gift with the change and bring us a flower that they somehow got for free.
(We had these shirts made that they had to wear.  Its like the quicksilver brand with "I Love My Wife" under it and on the back... )
So they went to the salon and had to style someone's hair and video tape it.  If I had the tape I would post it, it was hilarious!  then they got these paper fortune cookies for their next clue.

It sent them to Walmart to interview guys about what they are getting their sweethearts for valentine's day.  They were good sports.  After that we had someone deliver a puzzle that had a message on the back that sent them to my friend's where they had to sew a drawstring bag for us.  Surprisingly they did excellent and they were then sent home with a message to be the first to kiss their wife to win.

We had decorated a table for dinner when they got here.  We had yummy raspberry chipotle salmon.

For desert Tera had a chocolate fountain and we had everything possible to dip.  The favorite was of course fresh pineapple.   After dinner we watched the video of their race and they were so funny, they pretended to fight over the directions and driving.  I think they had fun!  I know I did!!

  2. thanks deisha! It was fun! It would have been cool to have lots of couples and actually do a real race but it worked out good still.
